Took some photos while in Crammond a few weeks ago. Thought i would share them with you all. Will post something more meaningful in a little bit. Hope you enjoy the photos. Most of them are of a land bridge that goes from the main land to an island in the firth of forth. The land bridge only exits during low tide.

I was cruising in the McFarlanes blog and came across this website which can tell you what kind of superhero you are.
I thought I would be the super hero who has super strength and kicks evil peoples asses (or at least in the shin).
However, I found out I am in fact, the EVIL GENIUS. This makes sence as I like to put my toe over that infamous line (you know the one) every once and a while, and lets face it…. I am a genius.

What Type of Villain are You?

Yes we really have experienced all of those things in the last 5 days!
Murder - Thursday night we were part of a fantastic surprise 30th birthday party thrown by our friend Judith for her husband Craig. It was written by one of their friends and was black tie - super fun. Judith prepared a stellar meal including yummy appetisers, celery and stilton soup, citrus cleansing sorbet, roast complete with veggies and yorkshire pudding (woo-hoo) and rasberry almond syllabub. David played a millionaire hotelier and I was his financee, a top gynaecologist! (don’t think there were not jokes about that all night)
Islands - Saturday, after discovering that insurance will be purchasing us a lap-top, we changed our plans from heading to Stiriling (castle, monuments etc) to include a research trip to the Mac store and a visit to Crammond. Mmm a highly recommended day trip. We took a city bus to this lovely village on the coast, had lunch a the local inn and pub - I love how kids (and their bikes) come to the pub with their parents and then we wandered along to the coast. Happily as it was low-tide were able to take the high-tide submerged causeway out to the wee island. It was beautiful and such a nice day, it is amazing that in Edinburgh which is on the coast we so rarely get to see the sea. But then we do nearly always have glimpses of the castle! We then walked another 40 minutes down the coast and following this fantastic walking guide book of Melissa’s wandered across a golf course (tramping laws means there is no such thing as trespassing) and went to another pub to warm up with dessert and coffee for me, beer for David.
Munich - On Saturday evening after returning to our flat - I necessitated warmer clothing and dry socks- we went to the movies with Melissa. You guessed it we saw Munich - fantastic. It was very well done and really stays with you. I would hesitate to say we all ‘enjoyed’ it but we all were moved and thought it was an excellent film.
Steelers - Sunday David headed off at 8.15 to attend a Super Bowl party. The only difficulty being that with the time difference, kick-off was at 11pm! From all accounts a good time was had by all, the host Jonathan even BBQed! David got home aroun 4am and even though he woke me up I was excited to hear all the details as I really wanted to go but my better sense and the necessity of getting up at 6.30 am prevailed! The truly great thing being that the Steelers won which was the team most of the attendees were supporting.
I will appeal to David to down-load our Crammond pictures and hopefully will be able to post a couple in the next day or too :-).

Look closely at the water bottle on my desk. Yes, there is a paper boat in it. Someone put this in my water bottle after i left for home last night.
