So last night I went to the movies in like I don’t know how long. I saw RAMBO. It was awesome. Not that the movie was all that great, but it was great to see another rambo movie. It is the experience that counts not necessarily the quality of the movie. It was definitely better than the last RAMBO movie, but not as good as the first 3. All in all i was happily entertained and was glad to pay my £4.50 to see it.
A friend of mine, Achim, calculated that there were on average 2.6 deaths per minute in the film. It had some of the best deaths in any of the other RAMBO movies.
One other highlight was one of the previews I saw. It was an advert for the movie “Son of Rambow”. It looks absolutely awesome.
It was nice to see a movie of this quality as I am sure there will be a slew of Dinsney movies coming my way.

A semi-frequent topic of conversation at tea time here in the school of maths is time travel. This is fuelled to some extent by the crappy New Scientist magazines which litter our common room. It seems like every other New Scientist magazine has something about time travel, string theory or black holes (or all three of these).
Anyways, I was asked the question yesterday
“Do I believe in Time Travel”
my response was,
“I am travelling through time right now”
To some extent I was, but only with my memories. Yesterday, Neyir and I received some wedding photos from a photographer who took a whole bunch of pictures at our wedding. There were some shots i was glad to see and I had the opportunity to see some of the things Neyir and her bridesmaids were doing prior to the wedding.
My favourite two shots were of Neyir cooking and eating breakfast in her veil.

I am going to be an Uncle! I hope I can be as good as an uncle as my Brother is.
My brother Michael and my sister in-law Lilia are going to have a baby. Gender is unknown but I am excited that Maxwell will have a cousin to play with. I have a plethora of cousins and growing up with them was alot of fun so hopefully Michael and Lilia will get to it and reproduce like rabbits!
I am going to stress they choose names that start with the letter F. The initials would be great. How does the name Fletcher sound?
I ask all you readers to pray for them and the wee one’s health and for God to keep them in the coming months.
Also, if any of you have some name suggestions please comment here.

Maxwell received an awesome gift today from my friend Hugh in the School of Maths. It is a knitted sweater with Maxwell’s Equations on them.
See the photo below.

I think I am going to try to have some article of clothing for him at every stage of his life with these equations on them.
I used to have a T-shit with Maxwell’s equation on it. I was sad when that shirt finally disintegrated.

Neyir and I caught Maxwell just before he got into the bath with the camera. We managed to take some nice photos of him to show his first girlfriend!;-) Photos can be found to the right.
Also, I managed to get a photo I took published on the BBC website. Click here and check out picture 11. I took this a while ago, but only sent it to them recently.
