Maxwell is getting taller

Two weeks ago while my parents were in town, I placed Maxwell on the ground with a piano toy and turned away. 1 min later i turned around and he was standing. I was very excited but sad I missed the event. He didn’t repeat the feat for over a week. Last monday I captured this on video

He now stands up and walks along the length of the couch. He will even transfer his hold to a standing toy if the toy is within reach.

Baby proofing is in order.

That’s right folks Mike and Inie will be here, in Scotland, in less than 24 hours!!!!! This is very exciting as they have not yet had the opportunity to visit us in this fair city. David is of course hung up on the fact that they are coming for Maxwell and not him. I think David might find many of the coming years and particularly Christmases a rude awakening ;-). They will be here for a week - even getting to stay in their own flat as a very generous neighbour is away.

Oh yeah, and I am going back to work on Monday….
